Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic professional to join our Partnerships Integrated Project Team (IPT). This role is pivotal in shaping NATO's collaboration with partner nations, enhancing capability development, and aligning strategic objectives across domains.   • Strategic Engagement & Briefings
    • Contribute to the activities of the Partnerships IPT/Branch
    • Develop and deliver high-impact briefings to senior officers and decision-makers on partnership initiatives
  • Policy & Process Development
    • Participate in the creation and refinement of policies, directives, and processes related to NATO partnerships
    • Support integration of NATO's capability development lifecycle into Partner activities, ensuring alignment with the NATO Defense Planning Process (NDPP) and standardization policies
  • Capability Development & Innovation
    • Coordinate ACT inputs on emerging and cross-domain capabilities (e.g., space, cyberspace) into Partner capability plans
    • Provide insights into strategic foresight and capability gap analysis to reflect Partner needs in NATO guidance documents
    • Support development of Partner capability requirements using DOTMLPFI analysis, wargaming, and experimentation
    • Promote innovative, cost-effective, and interoperable solutions through engagement with the S&T community, industry, and academia
  • Collaboration & Representation
    • Influence and collaborate with HQ SACT, NATO HQ, and Partner stakeholders to foster cooperation
    • Represent the IPT at meetings and conferences within and outside NATO boundaries
    • Perform additional tasks as required


Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience in capability development, defense planning, and international partnerships
  • Strong understanding of NATO structures, policies, and strategic priorities
  • Excellent communication and briefing skills, especially with senior leadership
  • Ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and cultures
  • Current passport


Required Education/Clearance
  • Active Secret clearance
  • Master's degree or higher in international relations, international security, international development, military studies, foreign policy, public affairs, political science, or a related discipline; or graduation from a NATO or national military staff college (OF-3 level or higher)

*Priority given to applicants with both post-graduate degree and military staff college

* Position contingent on contract Award

* International travel likely required (up to 30 days)
