What You'll Do:
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the security-related needs of the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Maintain detailed records and reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
- Communicate professionally with visitors, staff, and/or the public while upholding the standards of Allied Universal at a government location.
- Assist in controlling access to the property and monitor for any unusual or suspicious activity during patrols.
- Follow all instructions and guidelines provided by Allied Universal and site management while adapting to varying working environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:
- Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and provide proof as required by the client.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- A valid driver's license is required for driving positions in the job state.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
