Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning, coordinating and/or executing submarine flight test programs; formulating, planning and/or implementing programs that involve research, design, development, and/or productions of missile trainer systems; and conducting logistics impact assessments for new system designs and interfacing with stakeholders to influence acquisition logistics decisions.

- You will oversee planning, coordination, execution and conduct of submarine flight test programs for Sea Launch Cruise Missile-Nuclear (SLCM-N) and the supervision of SP046 personnel during conduct of crew training.
- You will coordinate and oversee all aspects of the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) efforts.
- You will oversee the development and maintenance of the SLCM-N principles of operations.
- You will manage all program elements for acquisition/support of trainers.
- You will direct all phases of trainer engineering, production and installation efforts needed to meet Fleet training requirements for the SLCM-N subsystems.
- You will oversee and manage coordination with systems commands, program offices, shipyards, and logistics centers to synchronize provisioning, configuration management, and supply chain readiness.
- You will oversee and manage the development of program budgets with supporting justification for all branch business elements: operations, documentation, training program, and acquisition/ life-cycle support for the SLCM-N program.
- You will plan and direct the preparation of procurement documents to support contractual activities ensuring contractor support for operations efforts, system documentation development and delivery, training curricula, content design, etc.
- You will provide the long-term continuity for the branch with respect to program efforts, future programs, and strategy.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
