Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Senior Mechanical Engineering Specialist:

• Evaluate and draft engineering memos to provide guidance consistent with industry best practices and compliance with all relevant codes.
• Review design documentation to identify deficiencies and ensure alignment with design intent.
• Manage project design or construction efforts, including scheduling, funding, and day-to-day oversight.
• Oversee and coordinate activities with trade shops, ensuring prioritization and inspection of ongoing projects.
• Conduct site surveys and calculations for new and existing building systems, focusing on HVAC design and building codes.

Required Skills for Senior Mechanical Engineering Specialist:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a facilities professional.
• At least 2 years of experience in high voltage power, mechanical systems, fire protection, or construction.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficiency with CAD systems, AutoCAD, or Revit.
• Top Secret clearance with TS/SCI and polygraph.
