Job Description

As a Security Officer - Auto Center Patrol - Full Time in Seymour, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a location serving the auto industry. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. You will be counted on to communicate clearly and respond promptly to any situations that arise, supporting a positive atmosphere for employees and visitors alike. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Observe and report any security-related irregularities, such as property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Document activities and incidents, preparing clear and concise reports as required by site procedures.
• Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors by providing information and directions as needed.
• Work closely with Allied Universal management and client representatives to address security-related concerns and support site operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
