Management Analyst I

This position requires an active Secret clearance to be considered.

A government contract requires that this position be restricted to U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents. You must provide documentation that you are a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident to qualify.

The Management Analyst I is responsible for providing analytical and administrative support to enhance organizational efficiency, processes, and decision-making. Working under close supervision, this role assists with data collection, reporting, and evaluation of business operations to support program goals and objectives. The Management Analyst I collaborates with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with government requirements, policies, and performance standards. This position requires a Secret clearance due to the sensitivity of the information handled.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Management Analyst I: $79,246.00

Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Management Analyst I Responsibilities Include:
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support management decisions and program performance.
  • Assist in developing reports, briefings, and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations for leadership.
  • Conduct research on policies, procedures, and industry best practices to support organizational improvements.
  • Evaluate program workflows and assist in identifying opportunities for efficiency, risk mitigation, and cost savings.
  • Support budget preparation, cost analysis, and monitoring of financial resources.
  • Maintain documentation, records, and performance metrics to ensure accountability and compliance with government and organizational standards.
  • Participate in meetings, prepare minutes, and track action items.
  • Provide administrative and analytical support to managers, project leads, and program offices as assigned.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Management Analyst I Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in data analysis, business operations, or management support (internships or related academic projects may qualify).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with data analysis tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience supporting government programs or defense-related projects.
  • Familiarity with federal regulations, reporting requirements, and contract support.
  • Exposure to project management or process improvement methodologies.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
