BAE Systems is seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) in Hudson, NH to implement tools and processes to insure suppliers starting new work are prepared and have robust plans to deliver first time quality to BAE program customers. The person will also investigate, evaluate, and resolve supplier quality problems by analyzing defect trends, and leading continuous improvement projects. The Supplier Quality Engineer will perform root cause analysis, travel to assigned suppliers, and lead multiple projects to completion. You must be a self-starting problem solver who will utilize your analytical skills to find innovative solutions to quality-related issues. Strong communication and problem solving skills are required to insure suppliers understand requirements and expectations, make progress reports and present findings. You will be reporting to the CEMA Supplier Quality Manager .

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $95106 - $161680
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

The SQE will:
- Implement tools and processes to ensure suppliers improve on current products with robust plans and deliver first time quality to BAE program customers
- Investigate, evaluate, and resolve supplier quality problems as well as conduct audits, analyze defect trends, and lead continuous improvement projects
- Engage experts across our commodity team to proactively mitigate risk and ensure effective resolution of issues as well as engage with program teams to support the manufacturing floor, flow down of customer requirements, sourcing decisions, and supplier risk identification.
- A self-starting problem solver who will utilize their analytical skills to find innovative solutions to quality-related issues
- A go-getter with a strong desire and mindset to drive actions and projects to closure without being prompted is a must
- A strong communicator who will ensure suppliers understand requirements and expectations, make progress reports and present findings.
- An engineer with the ability to influence and execute across functions and organizations summarize briefing/findings at an executive leadership level will be necessary for success.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's degree and 2-4+ years of experience or 8-10+ years of experience in lieu of degree
- Experience in 8D/RCCA activities
- Experience with requirements management and flowdown
- U.S. Citizenship required
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technical field
- Active Secret clearance
- Working knowledge of AS9100 or equivalent Quality Management Systems
- Experience executing or coaching suppliers on AS9102 FAIs and PPVs
- Ability to make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations
- Excellent planning, time management and organization skills
- Experience with APQP & PPAP requirements and implementation or equivalent automotive standards
- Experience with Special Processes, Product Production Line Validation, test, equipment, and instrumentation
- Experience with electrical/mechanical inspections, product test, equipment and instrumentation
