Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using a modern object-oriented programming language and its associated frameworks.
- Build and manage custom solutions, workflows, and integrations within enterprise content management or collaboration platforms.
- Analyze and resolve technical issues in existing applications, including legacy systems.
- Collaborate with a team to define, design, and implement new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Maintain and optimize relational databases to support application needs.
- Participate in peer-to-peer code reviews to maintain high-quality code standards.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of web or software development experience.
- 6+ years of professional experience developing web applications using a leading object-oriented language.
- Deep understanding of a major application framework and its core components for building both legacy and modern web applications.
- Modern Frameworks: Proven experience building modern, cross-platform web applications.
- Enterprise Platforms: Demonstrated experience with a major enterprise collaboration or content management platform, including its development, customization, and administration.
- Legacy Systems: A strong background in maintaining, updating, and migrating applications from legacy systems within a common technical stack.
- Database Management: Excellent knowledge of a major relational database, including database design, query languages, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug complex issues across various technical environments.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or related field.
- Possession of a high-level government security clearance.
- A professional certification in an Agile methodology is required.
