The individual selected for this position will support the customer's organization that provides video engineering services on a global scale. The enterprise supports a carrier class WAN, complex and diverse campus. This position will provide systems/ network engineering support to the customer's mission partners. Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $146670 - $249330
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

- Network Design: Designs and plans network communications systems, including LAN, WAN, and video networks, to meet organizational requirements and ensure reliability, scalability, and security.
- System Architecture: Provides specifications and detailed schematics for network and video architecture, including diagrams, flowcharts, and technical documentation.
- Testing and Evaluation: Conducts testing of network and video designs, including functional, integration, and regression testing, to ensure compliance with requirements and industry standards.
- Network Monitoring: Responsible for monitoring network hardware operations to ensure properly set configuration options, including performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Implementation Planning: Plans implementation of enhancements and upgrades to the networks, including coordination with stakeholders, development of project plans, and execution of implementation activities.
- User Support: Advises network users of hardware requirements, configurations, and limitations, including providing technical support, training, and documentation.
- Technical Expertise: Maintains technical expertise in all areas of video, network, and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, including routers, multiplexors, firewalls, hubs, bridges, and gateways.
- Technology Evaluation: Evaluates and reports on new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the network and video technology, including research, analysis, and recommendation of emerging technologies and trends.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
We are looking for an experienced Network and Video Engineer with a minimum of 11 years' experience with A Bachelor's or Master's Degree with the following experience:
- Network Operations & Fundamentals:
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN operations, network protocols, architectures, topologies, and networking devices (multiplexors, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways).
- Information Security
- Understanding of security policies, risk management, threat analysis, and vulnerability assessment.
- Video Technologies & A/V Solutions
- Experience with video conferencing, streaming, content delivery networks, and designing A/V solutions.
- Teleconferencing
- Familiarity with teleconferencing codecs and infrastructure (e.g., Polycom, Cisco VTC).
- Audio/Visual Equipment
- Experience in testing and evaluating A/V equipment (microphones, speakers, cameras, displays).
- Accreditation Process
- Knowledge of accreditation tools for video and communications systems, including security assessments.
- Communication Skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills for conveying technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Dynamic Environment
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, technologies, and requirements.
- Design & Documentation Tools
- Experience with Visio for network diagrams, flowcharts, and technical documentation.
- Extron Equipment
- Experience with Extron devices, including configuration and troubleshooting.
- Cisco Solutions
- Experience with various Cisco products (CUCM, CUBE, Expressway, VCS, CMS, Prime Collaboration, UCS, Jabber) including configuration and troubleshooting.
- VMware ESXi
- Experience operating and managing VMware ESXi hypervisor servers.
- Testing & Documentation
- Experience in designing and maintaining testing documentation (test plans, cases, reports).
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Trident V2CDS: Experience operating Trident V2CDS Cross-Domain Solution Servers, including configuration, management, and troubleshooting of Trident V2CDS solutions.
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux: Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux or CentOS Linux, including configuration, management, and troubleshooting of Linux operating systems.
- Firewall Troubleshooting: Experience troubleshooting firewalls, specifically regarding Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) and H.323 protocols, including configuration, management, and troubleshooting of firewalls.
- Other Vendor UC Systems: Experience with other vendor Unified Communications (UC) systems, including but not limited to Avaya, Microsoft, Oracle, and Polycom, including configuration, management, and troubleshooting of UC solutions
