The Systems Engineer will support Navy C4I programs by applying advanced systems engineering expertise to design, integrate, and sustain mission-critical capabilities. This role requires hands-on experience across the full engineering lifecycle, ensuring that all solutions align with DoD standards, security requirements, and operational objectives.
The successful candidate will leverage their experience of systems engineering to collaborate with stakeholders, coordinate with multidisciplinary technical teams, and maintain accurate program documentation. Through technical leadership and innovative problem-solving, the Systems Engineer will deliver secure, effective, and reliable solutions that enhance mission readiness.
Key Responsibilities
The Systems Engineer will:
* Apply systems engineering expertise to design, integrate, test, and implement mission-critical solutions within DoD environments
* Support DoD and Navy C4I programs across the full engineering life cycle
* Conduct and document systems integration, testing, and validation activities
* Collaborate with technical teams, stakeholders, and program leadership to meet mission requirements
* Ensure compliance with systems engineering standards, security frameworks, and DoD policies
* Deliver engineering solutions within established scope, schedule, and performance requirements
Required Skills & Experience
The Systems Engineer must have:
* Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility
* 7+ years of professional systems engineering experience supporting DoD or Navy C4I programs
* Skilled in systems design, integration, testing, and implementation in complex environments
* Strong understanding of systems engineering standards, compliance requirements, and security frameworks
* Excellent problem-solving, documentation, collaboration, and communication skills
Education & Certifications
The System Engineer must meet the following:
Required
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline
Preferred
* Advanced degree
* Industry certifications such as PMP CISSP or equivalent

Security Clearance

The candidate must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner, and that may include lifting up to thirty pounds, as necessary.
