Our Deloitte Strategy & Transactions team helps guide clients through their most critical moments and transformational initiatives. From strategy to execution, this team delivers integrated, end-to-end support and advisory services covering valuation modeling, cost optimization, restructuring, government operations modernization, business design and transformation, infrastructure and real estate, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and sustainability. Work alongside clients every step of the way, helping them navigate new challenges, avoid financial pitfalls, and provide practical solutions at every stage of their journey-before, during, and after any major transformational projects or transactions.
Work You'll Do
Leverage extensive experience, recognized credentials, and robust professional network to provide actionable strategic advice, identify & drive growth opportunities, and facilitate key introductions to accelerate business development in maritime seaport and shipbuilding marketing. Additionally, provide direct contribution to Cyber and Risk Preparedness teams in both the seaport and maritime context and more broadly, leveraging cyber background gleaned from USCG and U.S. Cyber Command experience. Advise and support client teams with insights, relationships, and deep knowledge of client priorities, final rules, policy, and priorities to help shape market entry and expansion.
o As a leading subject advisor, help advise leadership on growth strategies, market entry, and expansion initiatives to make entry into maritime, seaport, shipbuilding, and cyber markets.
o Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities to inform strategic decision-making.
o Utilize industry credentials and subject matter expertise to provide credible, data-driven recommendations.
o Leverage a strong professional network to make introductions to potential clients, partners, and stakeholders.
o Support business development efforts by identifying and connecting with influential market players.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate strategy into actionable plans.
o Stay abreast of industry developments and maintain active engagement within relevant professional communities.
o Provide tactical Cyber insights to teams working across domains

Qualifications
Required: >
o Bachelor's degree
o 20+ years of experience focused on federal maritime and Homeland Security policies related to seaports, shipbuilding, regulations, and cybersecurity
o Proven track record of success in the maritime, seaport, and shipbuilding industry
o Demonstrated ability to develop and implement growth strategies
o Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
o Active Top Secret security clearance required
o Ability to travel up to 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
