Lockheed Martin is looking for a highly motivated Systems Engineer to become a lead Systems Engineering over hardware requalifications.
As part of the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program this systems engineer stf. level position in Deployed Reentry Systems will serve as the alternate Lockheed Martin Unsatisfactory Report Board (URB) Co-Chair. Among the typical assignments are: problem investigations into deployed hardware, proofing new procedures and hardware, coordinating across a variety of internal & external customers, and supporting various testing and production efforts. This position will help lead a board of Subject Matter Experts, working closely with the SPF Co-Chair to recommend the best solution to a wide variety of trouble shooting efforts. This position may require availability outside of typical business hours to support the end user.
Basic Qualifications:
*Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education.
*Experience in Systems Engineering across the program lifecycle.
*Knowledge of SWOP (Special Weapons Ordnance Procedures) proofing and management.
*Knowledge Systems Support Equipment and H-Gear.
*Knowledge of RB (reentry body) hardware.
*Knowledge of the D5 Missile system.
*This position requires a DOD Top Secret security clearance to start.
*Ability to travel approximately 4 weeks per year
Desired Skills:
*Experience with ER/SWFs (eastern range/Strategic Weapons Facility)
*Expertise in SPALT (Strategic Systems, Programs, Alterations) and NWRO (Nuclear Weapons Retrofit Order) processes.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
