Lockheed Martin is looking for a highly motivated Systems Engineer to become a lead Systems Engineering over hardware requalifications.

As part of the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program this systems engineer stf. level position in Deployed Reentry Systems will serve the Reentry requalification efforts and the transition of development programs into production/deployment. Among the typical assignments are: generating requalification assessments, developing Memorandum of Requalification Agreements (MORAs) to include the test planning, generating Basis of Estimates, providing general program management to MORAs, providing technical systems engineering support for the hardware that is being requalified and reproduced, conducting thorough data mining for historical production, investigating hardware obsolescence, putting together trade studies, leading and coordinating production and test reviews, and making design changes as necessary. This position will lead a team of systems engineers who also complete these tasks. This position will review deliverables from the team for consistency to command media and established procedures.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering (mechanical/aerospace) or closely related field, or equivalent experience/education

• Experience with one or more Systems Integration functions including:
a.) System trade studies
b.) Requirements and Interface Control Documents (ICD)
c.) System Integration, Test and/or Verification
d.) Test planning and execution with an understanding of all the interdependencies

• Knowledge of the Systems Engineering process including trade studies, design reviews and system verification

• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
• System design and/or test experience with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Propulsion, RF, Software, etc.)

• Ability to absorb extensive technical detail and logically formulate solutions for execution on an inflexible schedule, often requiring integration of conflicting and, at times, incomplete data

• Experience ensuring the physical and functional compatibility of hardware/software products throughout the full lifecycle of the program

• Ability to interact with hardware designers or production vendors to ensure mission requirements are satisfied

• Strong presentation skills and capable of briefing audiences of varying technical knowledge

• Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and tackle numerous roles as part of the daily program operations

• Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker with the ability to select and apply appropriate systems thinking skills to solve problems and implement constructive change

• Control account manager (CAM) experience

• Experience with procurement processes of DoD Hardware

• Experience with hardware acceptance and qualification

• Proposal and Basis of Estimate generation experience

• Active Top Secret security clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
