Training Developer- Journeyman
Location: Washington, DC
Description: Seeking a Training Developer- Journeyman to support our efforts under the PRISM MATOC Task Order for the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Manpower and Reserve Affairs (OASD M&RA). This role focuses on designing and delivering training programs, supporting personnel policy, readiness, and financial resilience. The developer will create engaging content for CONUS and OCONUS delivery, contributing to M&RA's mission through effective educational solutions.
This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop training programs to support OASD M&RA operational needs.
- Deliver training content for both CONUS and OCONUS audiences to enhance readiness.
- Create engaging educational materials to meet mission-specific objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate training into broader goals.
- Prepare detailed documentation and materials for training delivery and evaluation.
- Evaluate training effectiveness to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
- Liaise with government stakeholders to align training efforts with policy and readiness goals.
- Maintain currency with DoD training standards, protocols, and delivery requirements.
- Support cross-functional coordination to ensure seamless training execution.
- Assist in monitoring and assessing participant feedback to refine training programs.
Required Experience:
- Proven experience in training development within DoD or federal environments.
- Strong skills in creating educational content for diverse audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple training projects effectively and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (including the ability to provide briefs, reports, etc., for senior leader review).
- Experience with training delivery for CONUS and OCONUS settings to meet operational standards.
- Capacity to collaborate with diverse teams and contribute to educational initiatives.
- Operational working knowledge of DoD training systems and delivery protocols
- Familiarity with DoD personnel policy and training support systems.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Active Secret Clearance or the ability to qualify and obtain a Secret clearance.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, or related field; Master's degree a plus.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in training development, including 1+ year supporting federal training programs.
- 1+ year of experience designing training for CONUS/OCONUS government initiatives.
