Senior Acquisition Program Manager
Sumaria has an opening for a Senior Acquisition Program Manager supporting the Medium Altitude UAS Division (MQ-9 Reaper). This position:

Assist the Government by providing advisory support for acquisition management, program planning and integration support of aircraft research, development, production, and lifecycle acquisition and sustainment activities to AFLCMC/WII. The general areas requiring advisory/draft documentation support by the Contractor include, but are not limited to: financial management, contract management, budget analysis, protocol, and interactions with DFAS.
Assist the Government by interacting with other AFLCMC/WII team members to identify issues. The Contractor shall assist the Government by recommending alternatives for responding to identified issues, and producing draft documentation for timely, fully-staffed products or solutions.
Assist the Government by providing advisory and draft documentation support in planning, developing, and staffing products such as mid-level briefings, correspondence, reports, databases, websites and other products.
Assist the Government in reviewing specific or general AFLCMC/WII processes and procedures. The Contractor shall assist the Government by providing recommended process improvements for Government consideration.
Assist the Government in reviewing ACAT reporting requirements, as well as the location, collation, or generation of the data required for Government review/population in the required reports. The Contractor shall assist the Government by providing recommended process improvements for Government consideration.
Assist the Government by providing advisory input into the planning, organizing and facilitation requirements for various meetings, to include telephone and video conferences.
Assist the Government by providing advisory and draft documentation support for the development of acquisition management, program planning and integration correspondence and other program products. The Contractor shall assist the Government by coordinating draft correspondence, and securing AFLCMC/WII leadership approval prior to distribution.
Assist the Government by providing advisory assistance for financial/acquisition management support functions to include the coordination and tracking of contracts, invoices, and contract modifications.
Assist the Government in reviewing, monitoring, and providing advisory support in the PMs effort to document cost, schedule, and performance of assigned Contractor activities.
Provide advisory assistance in translating stated requirements into recommended contract documents including but not limited to Performance Based Statement of Work (PBSOW) and CDRLs. The Contractor shall assist the CO in identifying required or by recommending potential FAR or DFARS clauses for Government consideration.
Assist the Government by providing advisory and draft documentation support for the development of risk mitigation strategies.
Independently apply subject matter expertise to various project/program initiatives; investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, or evaluate solutions for project/program efforts; provide expert-level issue resolution and recommendation support to achieve desired program outcomes; and have specialized expertise that may include, but not be limited to, the following functional areas: logistics, maintenance, supply, financial management, security management, information management, and contracting.
Be knowledgeable of processes involving configuration control; developmental, operational and force development evaluation testing of RPAs or similar vehicles/systems; force structure and depot maintenance/sustainment requirements; and the development of requirements documentation.
Have the ability to analyze operational capability requirements; determine technical solutions incorporating all aspects of aircraft supportability, certification and equipment readiness; and monitor the status of Contractor-generated technical data, technical manuals and engineering changes.
Work with DCMA, QA, and the warfighter to coordinate DD250s, ATPs and aircraft delivery.
Provide advisory and draft documentation assistance to the customer in support of the analysis of technical solutions for MQ-9 UAS for Command-and Air Staff-level briefings and staff packages that support the PEM in developing, defending and justifying budgets as they proceed through USAF, DoD, and Congressional reviews.
Provide advice and support in the Governments development of SOW, program plans, acquisition management plans, and Program Protection Plans; participate in fact-finding, and; make recommendations to the Government as required.
Assist the Government in identifying potential performance standards and documenting processes related to the acquisition and sustainment of the MQ-9 (or similar) systems.
Assist the Government by providing advisory assistance and support for the development, population and maintenance of databases for the storage, retrieval, and tracking of key program metrics, and other program data as required.
Assist the Government in supporting Contractor Logistics Support (CLS), depot transition, and business case analysis efforts.
Assist the Government by analyzing operational fielding requirements. The Contractor shall provide recommendations for Government consideration regarding technical solution issues to include all aspects of MQ-9 (or similar systems) supportability, certification, and equipment readiness.
Assist the Government by providing advisory and draft documentation support for developing, reviewing, coordinating, implementing, and monitoring acquisition management plans.
Assist the Government by providing advisory and draft documentation support for the development of strategy, project schedules, financial plans and other time-sensitive documentation required to manage MQ-9 systems.
Assist the Government by providing advisory and draft documentation support for the development of long-range plans, roadmaps, mission area plans, and other formal/informal planning documents. The Contractor shall provide technical and feasibility analyses, for Government evaluation, as required for continued multi-faceted sustainment efforts of the MQ-9 systems.
Assist the Government by providing advisory and draft documentation to support the establishment, tracking and management of numerous sustainment requirements for MQ-9 system upgrades and improvements.
Assist the Government by providing advisory and draft documentation support for depot maintenance requirements for sustainment of the MQ-9 RPAs and associated systems.
Assist the Government by providing advisory and draft documentation support for the definition of requirements for the CLS efforts, including interfacing with sustainment organizations at Robins AFB, GA.
Assist the Government by providing technical assistance to resolve system engineering, configuration, multiple customer and maintenance concerns
Assist the Government by analyzing, monitoring, and providing advisory and draft documentation support in documenting cost, schedule, and performance of assigned Contractor activities.
Provide advisory assistance to the Government with regard to status and progress of assigned acquisition activities.

Required Skills/Education: Advanced Degree (Master of Arts (MA) / Master of Science (MS) and 12 years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, five years of which must be in the DoD OR, BA/BS degree, and 15 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoD OR, 20 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the Functionally Aligned Job Descriptions, eight of which must be in the DoD.
