As a Unarmed Security Professional - Industrial Site in Brookwood, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .
As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment by conducting regular patrols and being a visible presence throughout the site. Your responsibilities will include monitoring designated areas, observing for any unusual activity, and providing exceptional customer service to everyone you encounter. This primarily driving post requires you to navigate the premises and respond to situations as needed, while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. You will be part of a dedicated team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, making a real difference every day through your commitment to service and communication.

What You'll Do:
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized persons.
- Monitor access points and report any unusual or suspicious activity in and around the manufacturing and industrial environment.
- Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site management.
- Assist employees, visitors, and contractors with security-related inquiries and directions within the location.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary and as directed by site protocols.

- A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
- Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to work at locations with limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is preferred.
- A valid driver's license is required and must meet with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
