Job Description

As a Security Professional- Retail Center Patrol - Full Time in Garland, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal in a retail and mall environment, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure and welcoming atmosphere for customers and staff. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the location, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that may arise. You will also provide outstanding customer service, assisting guests and employees with their needs and fostering positive interactions. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted behavior.
• Document and report any incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials and/or assisting visitors as needed.
• Collaborate with store management and staff to address security-related concerns and support a positive environment for customers and employees.

Minimum Requirements:

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
