Job Description

As a Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol - Telecom Site in Flower Mound, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment for people and property. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and assisting with access control and badge verification as needed. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to routine inquiries and reporting any unusual activity. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activities within the premises to help to deter potential threats or security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff, offering assistance and information as needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities in daily reports as required by Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
