Job Description:
Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion. Drives program execution to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow for new, continuing, or current programs. Responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of assigned programs or subsystems of major programs.

Responsibilities include:

• Participate in contract and change negotiations.
• Coordinate preparation of proposals, business plans, performance Statements of Work (SOW), specifications, operating budgets, and contract terms.
• Act as the primary customer contact for program activities, leading review sessions to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
• Establish design concepts, criteria, and engineering efforts for research, development, integration, and test.
• Expand the product line with the customer.
• Establish milestones, monitor adherence to master plans and schedules, and identify program issues while implementing solutions such as resource allocation or contract modifications.
• Direct the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing, and administrative areas.

Basic Qualifications

• BS/BA degree or equivalent military experience
• At least 4 years of program management experience
• 4 years of international work experience
• 4 years direct customer interface experience
• 2+ years managing proposal efforts

Preferred Additional Skills

• Master's degree, MBA preferred
• Familiarity with tactical communications
• Defense industry background
• PMP certification
