Advisory Council Member SME

Amentum is seeking an Advisory Council Member SME to support our FEDSIM United States Army National Guard (G2 IS3) contract.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a key member of the ARNG G-2 Advisory Council, providing domain and/or subject matter expertise and strategic guidance to ensure alignment of intelligence modernization efforts with Army G-2 priorities and national defense objectives.
• Supports the IS3 team by delivering expert recommendations on complex issues spanning Military Intelligence (MI) transformation under Army 2030, Multi-Domain Operations (MDO), and Joint/Combined Operations.
• Offers expert input without direct decision-making authority, ensuring projects stay aligned with organizational strategy.
• Participates in bi-annual strategic reviews to discuss roadblocks and troubleshoot solutions for expedited execution and successful completion of IS3 requirements.
• Contributes cross-functional insights focused on innovation and assessment of future readiness to help refine intelligence training doctrine, optimize warfighter integration, and improve operational readiness.
• Contributes feedback as needed as part of a continuous improvement loop informing recommendations, assessments, workflows, learning approaches, etc. (e.g., reviews intelligence workflows, validates training curricula design; or recommends performance metrics and ways to streamline workflows; or recommends performance metrics and ways to streamline workflows, validates training curricula design; or advises on interoperability of MI tools with federal systems).
• Contributes to the governance, execution, and continuous improvement of their assigned task areas by participating in relevant Centers and Working Groups aligned to their roles, technical domains, or management functions. This engagement ensures integrated delivery, cross-functional collaboration, and real-time responsiveness to ARNG G-2 mission priorities.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Polygraph
• 16+ years of experience and BA/BS or MA/MS; AA/AS + 2 years, or Highschool + 4 years may be substituted for BA/BS
