This position plays a key role in lifecycle sustainment activities from system concept through end-of-life, ensuring program readiness and cost-effective support strategies.

We are seeking a skilled Integrated Logistics Specialist (Lifecycle Logistician) to provide full-spectrum logistics support for a communications-focused program management office operating at the O-5 level. This position plays a key role in lifecycle sustainment activities from system concept through end-of-life, ensuring program readiness and cost-effective support strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement logistics program activities, including provisioning, technical documentation, materiel fielding plans, supply support, and configuration management.
- Support the Materiel Release process in accordance with applicable regulatory guidance:
- Coordinate stakeholder approvals such as ATOs, training suitability, supportability statements, safety and health data sheets, and software suitability documentation.
- Support the Type Classification process:
- Develop and manage system identification data, coordinate with force structure and materiel stakeholders, and support the process to achieve standardized classification and system tracking codes.
- Prepare and support acquisition documentation through milestone decision points (e.g., Level of Repair Analysis, Core Depot Assessments).
- Provide technical and acquisition logistics support to project leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Develop and maintain Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs) using approved data management systems.
- Analyze and implement product support strategies to improve system readiness and reduce operations and support (O&S) costs.
- Apply the 12 Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements in support of system readiness and sustainment.
- Contribute to Statement of Work (SOW) and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) development, and review contractor logistics support documentation.
- Support development of Life Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCE) and demilitarization (DEMIL) plans.
- Assist in establishing depot-level maintenance and repair capabilities.
Required Qualifications:
- Must hold an active/current Secret clearance.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in acquisition logistics and sustainment support.
- Working knowledge of defense acquisition lifecycle processes and product support planning.
- Experience developing and maintaining logistics documentation, including LCSPs and supportability analyses.
- Familiarity with the 12 IPS elements and how they influence readiness and cost.
- Experience reviewing and contributing to SOWs, CDRLs, and contractor logistics deliverables.
- Understanding Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) metrics and their impact on lifecycle support strategies.
- Experience supporting development of cost estimates and sustainment plans.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Travel: 10-15%
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with communications security (COMSEC) or secure systems support
- Certified Acquisition Professional in Logistics
- DAWIA Level III Certification (or equivalent)
- Six Sigma certification or relevant training
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field
