TMC Technologies is in search of a Technical Compliance Lead/Security Solutions Architect to join our team in providing information technology (IT) support services to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), under the Office of The Chief Information Officer (OCIO). This is an active bid and contract award is expected in October 2025. The candidate must be a US citizen and possess a minimum of an active Top Secret clearance to start due to federal contract requirements.
The Technical Compliance Lead/Security Solutions Architect will have the following responsibilities:
- Assists with the interpretation of Federal Government Policy, Law, Directives, Executive Orders, National Manager Memos, CNSS Instructions and other requirements that are required to be implemented within the FBI and its components as it relates to cybersecurity.
- Work on network modernization as one of their focus areas, specifically focusing on National Security Systems (NSS).
- Translate requirements from non-technical to technical, and vice versa, is paramount and the ability to communicate these requirements to both technical and non technical personnel in verbal and non-verbal communication ways is required.
- Interpret, understand, find or provide a solution to a given problem is a required ability to assist OCIO and the FBI organizational units as a Security Solutions Architect.
- Reads, understands, interprets Federal Government policy, law, Directives, EOs and CNSS instructions and other requirements into actionable items.
- Works with required stakeholders both internal and external to the FBI to get requirements to fulfill the technical specifications met or exceeded within the required timeframe.
- Assists in leveraging resources throughout the FBI to fulfill operational mission requirements in a timely fashion, with little to no disruption.
- Establishes relationships with internal and external stakeholders within the DOJ and IC mission space to deliver the requirements set forth within the policy/directives to allow for an effective and efficient use of resources.
- Interprets, adapts and overcomes obstacles while thinking innovatively for solutions to solve the requirement while enlisting the knowledge of others throughout the FBI.
- Engages technical personnel with management to design and implement solutions that adhere to USG security protocols and requirements.
- Ensures that all Federal government security requirements, policy, guides, standards and other requirements are met or exceeded during design and implementation of systems during design/redesign and implementation.
- Designs a solution based on requirements provided during discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
- Works with internal and external stakeholders to optimize current solutions to provide a more secure, optimized, and cost-effective solution for their system.
- Performs complex and advanced security architecture work in design, evaluation, planning, testing and operation in support of system development, engineering and analysis and research.
Job Requirements
US Citizenship and active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required
A minimum of 8+ years of experience is required for this position.
Experience including network architecture, segmentation and data encryption is desired.
