Description
Develop, manage, and maintain project requirements, ensuring traceability from stakeholder needs through design, implementation, and operations Participate in and facilitate design reviews, ensuring compliance with project requirements, codes, and standards Support project closeout activities, including verification and validation, final documentation, as-built records, and lessons learned Coordinate with project managers, engineers, CM analysts, and stakeholders to ensure systems integration Contribute to the creation, revision, and maintenance of SE governance documents, including the SEMP, SEP, and SE Handbook Standardize processes for requirements management, design review, risk management, and V&V across the enterprise Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure governance aligns with organizational goals and industry best practices Support training and rollout of SE processes to other engineers and project teams Work cross-functionally with project managers, engineering disciplines, operations, and executive leadership Participate in enterprise SE working groups and process improvement initiatives Other duties as assigned

Salary: $100,000 - 129,000

Requirements
Education/Training:
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Architecture Engineering, or related technical field preferred
Experience:
- 3+ years of professional experience in system engineering or closely related engineering roles
- Demonstrated experience with SE lifecycle processes, including requirements development, design reviews, verification & validation, and project closeouts
- Strong understanding of SE standards such as INCOSE SE Handbook or ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288
Preferred Experience:
- Experience developing or maintaining governance documents such as SEMP, SEP, or SE Handbook
- Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and practices
- Experience coordinating with diverse technical and operational stakeholders
- Experience with metrics-driven process improvement
Security:
- Must be a US citizen
- Candidate must be in possession of a minimum DoD issued Secret Clearance
Physical Requirements:
- Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
- Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
- Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
- Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time
