Overview
Performs data exploration, analysis, modeling, and visualization to extract insights and support mission-critical decisions in an agile environment. Applies functional knowledge of statistics, machine learning, and data engineering, as well as general industry expertise. Possesses and applies advanced skills across multiple complex assignments, often requiring originality and innovation in how data is processed and interpreted. Operates with appreciable latitude in selecting methodologies and presenting solutions. Contributes to deliverables, performance metrics, and mission outcomes by transforming raw data into actionable intelligence.
Minimum Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or related fields, with at least 2 years directly supporting data-driven projects in the past 3 years.
• Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

What You’ll Do
• Data Exploration & Analysis: Clean, process, and analyze structured and unstructured data to uncover patterns and insights.
• Modeling & Algorithms: Develop predictive models, statistical methods, and machine learning solutions tailored to mission requirements.
• Visualization & Storytelling: Build dashboards and data visualizations to communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Mentorship & Leadership: Guide teammates in best practices for data science and lead the development of innovative solutions.
• Automation & Scalability: Implement automation for data ingestion, processing, and reporting to ensure reliability and efficiency.
What You Bring
• 3+ years of experience with data exploration, cleaning, analysis, visualization, or mining.
• 3+ years of experience analyzing both structured and unstructured data sources.
• Proficiency in statistical and general-purpose programming languages (Python, R, SQL).
• Experience developing predictive models, quantitative analyses, and data visualizations.
• Familiarity with NLP, text mining, and/or machine learning techniques.
• Experience implementing automation in data workflows.
• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree.
Nice to Have
• Experience developing algorithms in Python and SQL.
• Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) and their application to real-world problems.
• Hands-on experience with Python data science and visualization packages (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
• Experience with Excel VBA for specialized analysis.
