Saab Inc. is seeking a Field Service/Technical Support Engineer to provide outstanding service to all customers. The ideal candidate must be highly motivated, solutions-focused, and committed to solving customer problems. Responsibilities will include:
Provide remote and occasional on-site technical support to customers on multiple complex systems.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and debug complex electro-mechanical equipment, computer systems, software, and networked and/or wireless systems.
Resolve complex issues independently or in collaboration with others.
Respond to situations where first-line technicians are unable to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software.
Report design, reliability, and maintenance issues or software bugs to design and software engineering teams.
Interact frequently with customers to provide support and build strong relationships.
Support additional company functions such as customer installations and training, as needed.
Travel occasionally as required, typically 25% (approximately 1 - 2 trips per quarter).
Compensation Range: $70,200 - $87,800
