Join our dynamic team in Huntsville, Alabama, as a Shipside Operations Specialist - Manufacturing Captain (Mid-Level or Experienced) and be at the forefront of cutting-edge defense manufacturing.
We're looking for skilled professionals who are passionate about precision and innovation to help produce Boeing's Patriot Advanced Capability Seeker team - an integral part of the world's most advanced air defense system. Recently, the PAC-3 team was honored as the 2025 "Coolest Thing Made in Alabama:" in the statewide Manufacturing Madness competition.
Position Responsibilities:
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim pre-start and final post-start U.S. Secret clearance is required.

Mid-Level (Level 3): $72,250 - $97,750 USD
Experienced (Level 4): $86,700 - $117,300 USD

- Use technical knowledge, understanding of process flow, and networking skills to ensure issues are addressed and resolved by responsible support organization
- Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria. Analyzes and interprets data
- Assist organizations in identifying reoccurring and high impact issues
- Supports root cause analysis and corrective action plan to address reoccurring and high impact issues
- Facilitate ongoing coordination and tracking of open items
- Provide guidance and coaching to less experienced teammates
- Represents organization as a prime contact on contracts or projects
- Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations
- Shipside Operations Specialist works under general direction

- Experience with Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and SharePoint
- Ability to work any shift as assigned
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Level 3
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Manufacturing Execution Systems common image (MESci) experience.
- Experience in the Aerospace & Defense Industry and/or the military
- Experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership
- Experience using Shipside Action Tracker (SAT)
- Active US security clearance
Level 4
- 5+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Operations environment
- 3+ years of experience collecting, analyzing and interpreting data and managing projects
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Manufacturing Execution Systems common image (MESci) experience.
- Experience implementing lean methodologies and productivity improvements
- Experience in the Aerospace & Defense Industry and/or the military
- Experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership
- Experience using Shipside Action Tracker (SAT)

- A shift: Monday-Thursday 6:00am - 4:30pm
- B shift: Monday-Thursday 4:30pm - 3:00am
- C shift: Friday-Sunday 6:00am - 6:30pm
