Description:The Systems Engineering Enterprise Transformation team works closely with Aero Programs, and with LM Business Area (BA) in support of digital transformation and 1LMX initiatives to drive standardization, efficiencies and digital solutions. Through systems engineering principles and a model-based approach, we are shaping the future of system engineering through reusability and interoperability in the digital landscape.
We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to join our team as a Systems Modeler. You will develop and maintain complex system models using various modeling tools, languages and frameworks like SysML and UAF. Your multi-domain background in project engineering, operations, and systems engineering will bring rigor to strategic digital solutions for platform integration.
In this position, you will be given the opportunity to leverage your Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) experiences on teams engaged in the design of complex military systems. You will engage other Systems Engineers in a broader understanding of modeling and assist them in developing Systems Engineering work products. Members of this team will be resources to programs to enable efficient and effective implementation of MBSE.
Specific responsibilities of this role include:
-Deploying to programs on short-term assignments to initiate & guide model-based systems engineering implementation
-Tracking product development efforts within Lines of Business to ensure program needs are incorporated into the Systems Engineering Modernization roadmap
-Developing reference architectures for key product lines for use as a basis of program architectures
-Supporting and leading cross business area Model Based Systems Engineering activities
-Interface with Sustainment and Supply Chain teams to broaden MBSE adoption.
-Establish execution, implementation and strategy plans for new capabilities.
-Development of process documentation, producing technical and operational manuals and user guidance
-Providing training, lunch and learns, and one-on-one coaching regarding MBSE implementation
Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Engineering or STEM
-Strong Systems Engineering background
-Proficiency in SysML, Cameo and other MBSE related tools and skills
-Systems Architecture experience
-Ability to secure and maintain Secret Security Clearance
Desired Skills:
-Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the proven ability to communicate to all levels internally and externally
-Experience with the Siemens Xcelerator and/or the Dassault 3DX PLM ecosystems
-Experience with lifecycle management
-Demonstrated ability to drive closure and resolve complex, large-scale technical issues/challenges
-Proven experience in developing strategies and translating them into action and results
-Solid understanding of E&T integration with SCM, Operations, and Sustainment
-INCOSE Certified Professional (ASEP, CSEP, ESEP)
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
