Description:You will be the Director of Environment, Safety and Health (ESH) for Lockheed Martin Aeronautics. Our team is responsible for establishing, managing, and continuously improving ESH programs to ensure a safe workplace, regulatory compliance, and environmental stewardship.
What You Will Be Doing:
As the Director of ESH, you will be responsible for defining and implementing enterprise-wide ESH strategies, integrating ESH into the business, and serving as the liaison to Lockheed Martin Corporate. Your responsibilities will include:
• Developing and maintaining the ESH Management System to ensure regulatory compliance and environmental stewardship
• Providing counsel and direction to executive leadership on ESH risks, stewardship, and sustainability programs
• Leading the business area ESH function to identify and address ESH risks in new business opportunities, global operations, and legacy remediation activities
• Defining ESH enterprise resource allocations and advocating for ESH priorities and direction with executive leadership
• Assessing needs for staffing, talent management, team development, and mentoring to ensure a skilled and effective ESH team

This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth.
You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years related experience managing and leading ESH programs.
• Demonstrated leadership experience (budget management, critical thinking, delegation strategies, enterprise-level business and operational perspective, talent management skills).
• Demonstrated experience and working knowledge of ESH management system elements, such as ISO 14001/45001.
• Demonstrated experience with Environmental and Occupational agencies and laws: OSHA, CWA, CAA, TSCA, RCRA.
• Demonstrated experience in leading large groups of employees, developing strategies and making decisions.
Desired Skills:
• Master's degree.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Past track record of success in managing ESH and energy related projects.
• Full Spectrum Leadership ability, qualities and experience
• Full Spectrum Leader with ability to deliver results through sound analysis of pending changes and potential impacts to program implementation.
• Ability to energize the team by ensuring staff has tools required to effectuate implementation.
• Ability to manage, coach, train and motivate team in technical and leadership development.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to address complex matter / solutions with senior leadership.
• Experience with Manufacturing and understanding of union environments and collective bargaining agreements.
• Lean Six Sigma green or black belt or other continuous improvement tools and techniques knowledge, including thorough root cause analysis and mistake-proofing processes.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
