Electronic Maintenance Technician

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Electronic Maintenance Technician to join our team in Crane, IN. This is an on-site position.

This role supports the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) legacy workload in troubleshooting and repairing radar legacy systems.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Interpreting and integrating hardware based on drawings, system wiring diagrams, and interface circuit boards
• Troubleshooting, repairing, and testing of Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs)
• Abiding by all Electronic Discharge processes and procedures while handling Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs)
• Soldering to revised printed circuit boards
• Completing Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), High voltage training, Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) and associated training within first 30 days of employment

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma and 3+ years of relevant Engineering and Electronic experience OR an Associate's Degree with 1+ years of relevant Engineering and Electronic experience
• 1+ years of experience in reading, understanding, and creating technical drawings (schematics) of electrical equipment
• Must possess both the IPC J-STD-001 and IPC 7711/7721 certifications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane projects
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Clearance Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and be willing and able to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Physical Requirements:

• Wear steel toed boots daily (provided by employee).
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
• Work extensive time in stationary positions.
• Climb and descend ladders.
