MINIMUM EDUCATION: Shall possess a BS degree in an engineering discipline or substitute 3 or more years of professional experience of related efforts. Education shall be obtained from an accredited college or university.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE: Should possess three (3) plus years of demonstrated experience in research and development of new materials and corrosion control that both improve the performance of products and take advantage of advances in technology.
Personnel should demonstrate working knowledge of materials engineering programs in the areas of marine corrosion, materials engineering, corrosion engineering, electrochemistry, coatings assessment, coating testing, and environmental effects as related to US Marine Corps, US Navy vessels, vehicles, weapon systems, and related equipment and have documented experience in engineering efforts of the Task Areas of the Statement of Work.
CLEARANCE: Shall hold or be capable of obtaining a Secret clearance prior to being granted access to classified information up to the level of Secret.
