Job Description

As a Security Professional - Healthcare Site - Afternoon Shift in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in helping to maintain a secure and welcoming environment within a healthcare setting. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the location, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and responding professionally to any situations that arise. You will engage with staff, patients, and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication at all times. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter, observing and reporting any unusual activities or conditions.
• Assist in helping to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas within the healthcare environment.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Support Allied Universal in maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions within the healthcare location.
• Collaborate with site staff and/or visitors to provide guidance and assistance as needed during routine operations and emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
