We are seeking a Data Engineer with a strong background in data analytics and visualization to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming complex datasets into compelling dashboards and visual stories that drive informed decision-making. You will design and implement dashboards, proactively analyze data, and maintain sustainable visualization solutions that support both technical teams and business stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about turning data into actionable insights using modern tools and scripting languages.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Build Dashboards: Develop interactive, user-friendly dashboards and visualizations that present data clearly and effectively.
Proactive Data Analysis: Analyze datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities, proactively creating visualizations to address evolving business needs.
Sustain & Enhance Solutions: Maintain and continuously improve existing dashboards and data pipelines for long-term usability and scalability.
Automation: Leverage Power Automate and scripting to streamline workflows and automate repetitive data processes.
Data Transformation: Utilize Power Query and other ETL tools to clean, transform, and prepare data for analysis and visualization.
Scripting & Custom Solutions: Apply Python scripts for advanced data processing, statistical analysis, and custom visualization requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders, including business analysts, developers, and leadership, to translate requirements into effective visualization strategies.
Ensure visualizations adhere to data governance, security, and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience developing software and databases using modern tools and frameworks.
Proficiency with Power Query, Power Automate, and Python.
Strong knowledge of data visualization best practices and dashboard design principles.
Demonstrated ability to manage the full lifecycle of data visualization projects, from data extraction to maintenance.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Advana platform
Experience with Jupiter
Knowledge of Agile development environments.
Understanding of data governance and compliance frameworks.
