- You will lead subordinate Physical Security Specialists in preparing a Terrorism Threat Assessment for personnel and assets aboard the Installation.
- You will conduct the Vulnerability Assessment (VA) in conjunction with other Anti-Terrorism (AT) Working Group members in a collaborative effort.
- You will serve as the authoritative expert for all matters relating to Physical Security matters as related to reducing the vulnerability of the installation and tenant commands.
- You will validate identified security deficiencies and review narrative reports of findings and recommendations prepared by subordinates.

- Must obtain and maintain DoD Security Professional Certification within one year of assuming the position.
- Must complete Level II ATO Training within 3 years of assuming position. Refresher training must be completed at least once every 3 years.
- Must complete required Navy Personnel Qualifications Standards, as applicable for the position of ATO, ATTT, PS Officer and associated duties.
- This position is considered Key/Emergency-Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems.
- Key/emergency essential positions require the employee to sign an agreement stating that he/she will continue to perform assigned duties to support mission requirements in the event of a crisis situation of war, until relieved by proper authority.
- Key/emergency essential employees with military recall status will be removed from their military recall status.
