Summary

All Native Group is seeking a Business Analyst - Level III to support the Defense Health Agency Information Technology Department at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. This position is onsite at Bethesda, MD. This position is contingent upon contract award

Essential Functions
  • May provide knowledge in business process and system analysis, design, improvement, and implementation efforts or in translating business process needs into technical requirements.
  • Uses available computer systems resources and personnel to carry out analysis to support management's quest for performance improvement, to determine the most useful business solution.
  • May implement a comprehensive management plan for each project and hold regular stakeholder meetings to keep all interested parties updated in project progress.
  • Determines and documents user requirements for business processes and abide by those requirements for future projects.
  • Reviews and analyzes information, forecasts, methods, schedules, systems, processes and procedures.
  • Tracks and manages organizational taskers.
  • Manages the departments In/Out-processing activity
  • Complete all site required training within stated timelines.
  • Demonstrate good time management skills.
  • Create and provide daily or weekly work reports as required to management.
  • Processes DMLSS orders and tracks orders from submission through fulfillment.
  • Ensures the department is in compliance with DMHRSi and ATAPPS time keeping systems.
  • Coordinates the departments visitor passes parking and overall base access.
  • Engages directly with Department heads to coordinate meeting attendance and availability.
  • Support other Information Technology Department (ITD) Branches as needed.
  • Complete orientation and competency verification programs in accordance with department guidelines.
  • Complete all required training courses on or before the due date specified.
  • When assigned, will serve, and participate in functions and other meetings. Provide relevant and timely information and assists with decision-making and process improvement.
  • As required, participate in customer service initiatives and medical readiness activities, designed to enhance health services.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly working environment.
  • Sign in and out with Time Tracker while on-site to record employee's daily schedule.


Competencies
  • Expertise in, but not limited to, Configuration Management, Strategic Planning, Knowledge Management, Business Analysis and Technical Analysis.
  • Proficient in English, written and spoken.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, and Outlook


Supervisory Responsibility

None required for this position.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.
  • Occasionally moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
  • Expresses or exchanges ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly or quickly.
  • Frequently moves standard office equipment up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to work indoor conditions 90% of the time.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is full time position. Monday- Friday

Travel

Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out of the area travel and overnight may be expected.

Experience

Six (6) years of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency
