Summary

All Native Group is seeking an Application Systems Analyst - Level II to support the Defense Health Agency Information Technology Department at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. This position is onsite at Bethesda, MD. This position is contingent upon contract award

Essential Functions
  • Provide SharePoint design, configuration, deployment and maintenance support services.
  • Client-side web part development using the SharePoint Framework using JavaScript frameworks.
  • Routine operations, maintenance, development, and support of SharePoint On-premises and SharePoint Online
  • Staging, testing, and producing updates for Intranet pages
  • Applies fixes and remedial actions to ensure the continued operation and functionality of the intranet and other SharePoint sites and document repositories.
  • Working with internal customers to design, develop, test solutions and document workflows.
  • Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
  • Actively participate in Product Design Reviews by providing creative and practical ideas and solutions in a teamwork environment
  • Coordinate with various internal and/or external leaders to develop creative solutions, while adhering to project deadlines
  • Design, develop and maintain key components of the software suite using SharePoint Server 2019
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to technical staff, IT support staff, and end users.
  • Identify, support, and build intranet enhancements.
  • Implement new design features.
  • Instructs, directs, and validates the work of other SharePoint developers.
  • With minimum guidance provides top-level technical expertise, including performing in-depth and complex software systems programming and analysis.
  • Develops High level SharePoint and standalone software applications using custom coding in front end and back-end programming languages.
  • Mentor Intermediate, Junior, or new SharePoint team members
  • Ensure applications are secure and meet industry and Department of Defense standards for data privacy and security.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, orderly, and therapeutic working environment.
  • Obtain, maintain access to DMHRSi program and complete bi-weekly DMHRSi workload documentation.
  • Complete all required training courses on or before the due date specified.
  • Respond to any issues or requests submitted through the ticketing system within 5 working days of receiving notification.
  • Provide a daily status report at the end of each day, which includes detailed descriptions of work completed.
  • Make reasonable efforts to fix any critical bugs identified within 2 hours of receiving notification. If additional time is required, will communicate the issue and provide an estimated resolution time.


Competencies
  • Experience with software development Unit Testing, System Testing, Functional Testing, User Acceptance Testing, or other development testing experience
  • Experience with Software Development Life Cycle Process (may include SDLC, Agile, SCRUM, Lean, etc.)
  • Possess expert knowledge of SharePoint 2019 and SharePoint Online platform versions, and M365 full application suite to include but not limited Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, TEAMS)
  • Experience in SharePoint Development, including creating custom forms, workflows, and web parts.
  • Ability to write or edit CSS and HTML code.
  • Experience working in SharePoint On-premises and SharePoint Online
  • Experience documenting processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
  • Experience migrating from SharePoint On-premises to SharePoint Online
  • Strong attention to detail and personal accountability for high-quality deliverables and impactful results
  • Proficient in JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, REST API, .NET, Visual Studio, SharePoint Designer Workflows, SPFX, Node.js React
  • Understanding of SharePoint content types, lists, columns, web parts and features to provide collaboration solutions.
  • Ability to manage, design, and develop Microsoft SharePoint technologies.
  • Expertise using SharePoint designer to develop workflows and data view web parts.
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS and Master Pages to deliver a user-friendly experience to the client.
  • Understanding of JavaScript, jQuery, aspx scripting and .Net Programming
  • Expertise developing SQL Server scripts for accessing and manipulating data within SharePoint content databases and/or external databases.
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerShell, PowerApps, and Power Automate
  • Experience using SharePoint Designer 2013
  • Ability to work with IT organization and user departments to develop efficient and effective SharePoint solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and remediate front end issues, and enforce site standards, including security policies, to ensure the governance policies and processes are maintained.
  • Strong documentation, verbal communication, and analytical skills
  • Ability to adapt to rapid change both operationally and for production requirements.
  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously and manage time effectively to meet expectations.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.
  • Occasionally moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

  • Expresses or exchanges ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly or quickly.
  • Frequently moves standard office equipment up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to work indoor conditions 90% of the time.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is full time position. Monday- Friday

Travel

Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out of the area travel and overnight may be expected.

Experience

Bachelors' degree and/or equivalency

Education

Four (4) years of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency.
