As a Security Officer- - Armed Transportation Site - Part Time in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation and more .

In this armed patrol position, you will conduct regular patrols and remain highly visible throughout the premises, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence for everyone on site. You will be responsible for monitoring access points, assisting with badge checks, and responding promptly to any incidents or requests for assistance. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the transportation facility and its perimeter, observing for unusual activity and reporting findings.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Assist with access control, verifying credentials and assisting authorized individuals as required.
• Document incidents, observations, and activities accurately in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as directed, supporting incident resolution.
• Maintain a visible armed presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to clients, employees, and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Primarily driving post experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
