Job Description

As a Security Officer Aero Access Control in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As a Security Officer specializing in access control at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, conducting routine patrols of assigned areas, and remaining highly visible to support a secure atmosphere. You will also provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with all individuals on site, and respond promptly to any security-related situations as they arise. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas within an aerospace and defense location.
• Verify credentials and provide visitor management services in accordance with site-specific policies and procedures.
• Assist with security-related procedures and protocols, including screening of personnel and/or deliveries as required by the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Provide customer service to clients by addressing inquiries and offering assistance as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and report any irregularities.
• Document and report any incidents, observations, or breaches of security-related policies to the appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site representatives to maintain a secure environment at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
