Job Description

As a Security Officer - Media Facility - Overnight Shift in Boise, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Screener in a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by monitoring access points and conducting routine patrols of assigned areas. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing an approachable and professional point of contact for employees, visitors, and contractors. You will be responsible for verifying credentials, managing badge access, and responding to inquiries with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct screening of individuals entering the location, verifying credentials and/or identification as required by site protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
• Perform regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members regarding security-related matters.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns according to site and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Assist with access control, monitoring entry and exit points, and managing visitor flow as needed by the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
