Job Description

As a Security Professional - Telecom Site Patrol - Full Time in BOISE, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with visitors and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while remaining visible throughout your assigned areas. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license in the job state is required. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Control access to the location by verifying identification and/or credentials of individuals entering the premises, helping to deter unauthorized entry.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting staff, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter potential security-related incidents.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to observe and report any irregularities, with working environments and conditions that may vary by site.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and client procedures.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, collaborating with site personnel and first responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
