As a Security Guard - Education Site Patrol - Part Time in Greensboro, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in helping to create a secure environment within an educational setting. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols across the assigned location, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service to students, staff, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, assisting with inquiries and offering support in accordance with site-specific policies and procedures.
• Carry out security-related procedures and respond to emergencies as required at the educational location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus and surrounding areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance needs within the location to the appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with campus staff, students, and visitors to promote a secure environment.
• Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols while on duty, adapting to changing conditions as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
