Summary
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a QA Analyst to join our team on a primarily remote basis. The QA Analyst will be responsible for validating requirements, ensuring defect-free client delivery of platform configurations, facilitating acceptance testing, and executing test cases for Federal and Commercial clients. This role will also include creating repeatable processes and documentation for implementation across all projects.

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a QA Analyst to join our team on a primarily remote basis. The QA Analyst will be responsible for validating requirements, ensuring defect-free client delivery of platform configurations, facilitating acceptance testing, and executing test cases for Federal and Commercial clients. This role will also include creating repeatable processes and documentation for implementation across all projects.
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of quality across all custom-built software solutions.
- Establish and manage testing priorities throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Develop, assess, and organize test strategies based on technical documentation, developer updates, and stakeholder input.
- Validate the completeness, accuracy, and testability of product requirements.
- Design and carry out test procedures, and record outcomes for analysis and reporting.
- Set up and maintain automated regression testing frameworks.
- Detect and report bugs or issues as assigned.
- Collaborate effectively in team settings and work independently when needed; communicate clearly in both written and spoken formats, adapt quickly, troubleshoot efficiently, and maintain a professional demeanor.
- Partner with different departments to ensure testing aligns with user expectations and business goals.
- Continuously explore and integrate emerging technologies into testing practices.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance of web-based systems
- 3-5 years of experience writing and executing test plans
- 3-5 years of experience documenting test results, filling out defect reports, and working with development teams to resolve defects
- 1-3 years of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Bachelor's degree
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
Compensation:
- Salary Range: $100,000-$110,000/year **depending on experience**
