MANTECH seeks a motivated and career-focused Project Manager to join our team in Herndon, VA.
This role supports mission-critical operations by leading project execution, managing resources, and ensuring objectives are met on time and within scope. You will coordinate across diverse teams, assist with conflict resolution, and ensure performance standards are met through the delivery of high-impact outcomes.

This role supports mission-critical operations by leading project execution, managing resources, and ensuring objectives are met on time and within scope. You will coordinate across diverse teams, assist with conflict resolution, and ensure performance standards are met through the delivery of high-impact outcomes.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Apply leadership and technical skills to drive the successful completion of assigned projects.
- Analyze and solve routine problems using experience, sound judgment, and established precedents.
- Monitor and maintain project plans, ensuring alignment with status updates on resources, schedules, equipment, and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and schedulers to address scheduling conflicts, equipment shortages, and resource constraints.
- Track and report on customer Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as required by the program.
- Provide occasional local travel between customer buildings or to alternate work sites for project-specific needs.
- Participate in a rotating shift schedule covering operational hours between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM; required shift is from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma with 6+ years of experience OR Associate's Degree with 4+ years OR Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years.
- Direct understanding of the customer's environment, including ticketing systems, installations, desktop technologies, access administration, corporate applications, and voice/video infrastructure.
- Demonstrated project management experience in a Working Capital Fund (WCF) environment.
- Proven ability to lead teams with varying technical backgrounds in direct mission support.
- Ability to communicate project status clearly and develop practical solutions to problems.
- Track record of building and maintaining strong working relationships with stakeholders, customers, contractors, and team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Scrum Master, or equivalent project management certification.
- Familiarity with the customer's operational systems, including ticketing platforms, access controls, infrastructure, and desktop environments.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey accurate information and coordinate with colleagues, leadership, and clients.
- Demonstrated flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and environments.
Clearance Requirements:
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time.
- Must be able to operate a computer, phone, and other office equipment for extended periods.
- Must be able to move/traverse within and between buildings and offices, position self to maintain equipment and cabling (including under desks, moving floor tiles, and in server closets, some of which may be confined spaces).
- Must be able to move Audio/Visual or Computer equipment weighing 50+ pounds; some equipment may require team-lift or use of carts.
- Must be able to ascend/descend a ladder (10+ feet high) while pulling cables and adjusting equipment.
