Program Summary:

KBR is looking for a motivated, energetic, and established Financial Management Analyst with recent experience working in USAF acquisition and/or sustainment programs to join our team as a Financial Management Analyst.

This position is on Tinker AFB, OK and will require interfacing with government and contractor personnel.

Job Description:

Support the Missile Sustainment Division for the Air Launched Cruise Missile (ALCM) System Program Office (SPO). The candidate will provide ALCM support in developing various government and contract financial reports required by DoD contracts. Candidate must be able to work with program teams and various other stakeholders in capturing key inputs and data to incorporate into various products on a daily basis. The candidate must have excellent communication skills (written, verbal and active listening). The candidate must be comfortable working in a very dynamic, fluid environment and enjoy problem solving.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Support the planning, programming, budgeting, and execution processes by aiding all program managers in balancing financial plans and monitoring program execution.
  • Provide program and technical expertise by providing financial, and professional support to include financial operations, planning, analysis, filing, and reporting.
  • Develop and reconcile funding execution reports for program dollars, including balancing end of month reports.
  • Process program funding documents, developing budget (near-term and long-term) and spend plans (phasing of commitments, obligations, and expenditures), analyzing contractor and government cost reports, and tracking temporary duty (TDY) travel costs and provides actual vs. estimated cost.
  • Maintain the ALCM Budget Tracker reconciling Automated Funds Management System and Comprehensive Cost and Requirements (CCaR) system daily.
  • Update CCaR and Commander Resource Integration System execution data daily to support FM reporting
  • Complete other FM tasks as assigned.
  • Self-starter with excellent communication skills is a must
  • Engaging with customers at both working and senior levels
  • The Candidate will have to show practical and demonstrated financial management skills with the team and with the following required skills:

    • Multi-Tasking
    • Clear and well organized communication, especially writing
    • Plan development and execution
    • Candidate must possess strong computer skills and must be proficient with Microsoft Office Applications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field OR 4+ years of experience working in a Financial Management Analyst or similar role
  • Experience working in the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center or other
  • DoD Clearance Requirement: Secret

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Financial Management Certification Level II
