Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) providing tracking, management, and reporting capabilities for hazardous materials, waste, and air emissions, provides guidance and serves as a central point of contact for hazardous material inspections, audits, and staff visits. 2) formulating plans, priorities, and procedures for implementing a fully operational hazardous material tracking system coordinating schedules, provides resources, and performs liaison functions
3) actively helping and developing alternative programs to allow excess hazardous material to be advertised and reallocated throughout the installation.

- You will serve as the Program manager over the Hazardous Materials Cell (HazMat Cell) at Marine Corps Logistics Base (MCLB), Albany, Georgia.
- You will Manage the Hazardous Material Management System (HMMS), an automated, web-based system that provides cradle-to-grave tracking, management and reporting capabilities for hazardous materials, hazardous waste, and air emissions.
- You will Develops appropriate policies and procedures regarding the requisitioning process in order to reduce excess in stock and associated disposal cost, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
- You will provide guidance and serves as a central point of contact in response to all hazardous material inspections, audits, and staff visits.
- You will conduct compliance inspections of hazardous material storage sites to determine compliance with established practices and procedures.
- You will provide current inventory, usage data, and material composition for annual Title V Air Permit renewals, permit fees, waste disposal fees, data calls, and Emergency Planning and Community Right to Know Act (EPCRA) reports.
- You will formulate plans, priorities and procedures to ensure the implementation of a fully operational hazardous material tracking system to include the integration of separate supply systems into a centrally controlled location.
- You will attend conferences with higher headquarters and other installations to provide MCLB representation and assistance in system development projects and make presentation to existing customers.
