- You will participate in all phases of the overhaul planning process to ensure the proper sequencing and integration of work between the various key events, milestones and test in support of non-nuclear multi-level schedules.
- You will review schedule adherence and make recommendations to correct causes of delays for schedules in the future.
- You will maintain current knowledge of the requirements of NAVSEA and local instructions pertaining to scheduling and fully comply with those requirements in the development and issuance of schedule products.
- You will communicate with all levels of shipyard management, employees, and non-shipyard representatives in a tactful and business-like manner.
- You will produce the required schedule products using automated and computerized equipment and programs.
- You will review work packages or other authorizing documents to ensure all work is logically sequenced and scheduled.

Qualifications

- Experience applying intensive practical knowledge of most production methods and procedures, machines, and materials.
- Experience creating the Master Production Schedule for compilation and analyzing project workload forecasts.
- Experience applying a variety of methods to investigate, analyze, plan, and implement corrective production actions as well as establish effective cost controls.
- Experience collaborating with higher level management to set the overall objectives and adjust any conflicting priorities within the team.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Experience applying knowledge of the production organization and established production methods and procedures to carry out established production control assignments.
- Experience performing tasks or projects with knowledge of the product or the project to correlate and analyze a variety of routine production data, processes, updates, modifying, and evaluating schedule networks for projects.
- Experience with developing and creating visual aid displays for formal presentations
