Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized SUPERVISORY GENERAL BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY SPECIALIST experience equivalent to the next lower pay band (NM-04) or grade level (GS-13/14) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of specialized experience include: (1) Applying comprehensive practices of related disciplines as they relate to the specialty area of earned value management, cost estimating, schedule development and analysis in support of an aviation weapon system acquisition program; (2) Leading, managing, and supervisory employees to meet assigned program/project goals and objectives; (3) Demonstrating advanced professional competency in the Earned Value Management, Scheduling, Cost, and Analysis disciplines to provide technical direction of the workforce and to ensure currency in processes, methodologies, and products; (4) Coordinating and assigning work assignments to subordinates, based on organizational priorities, selective consideration of difficulty and requirements of assignments, and capabilities of employees; and (5) Supervising and performing official supervisory responsibilities for assigned subordinates.

- You will plan work and prepare performance plans covering work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and determine schedules for completion of work.
- You will assign work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees.
- You will resolve technical problems, review work, and provide answers to employees and supervisors' questions.
- You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of analyses and other products developed for assigned program/project.
- You will participate in the development of digital solutions for assigned program/project.
- You will maintain working knowledge of the latest operations research or industrial engineering theories, methods, and techniques associated specifically with Earned Value Management (EVM) and related professional disciplines.
- You will develop new or improved methods, tools, databases, and processes for on-going and future aviation weapon system and subsystem EVM analysis, and other acquisition applications throughout the agency.
- You will pursue the interchange of data and information from EVM personnel throughout the agency, other government agencies, and industry to provide central authority and expertise in these subjects.
- You will obtain information on methodology development and data research applications.
- You will supervise and perform official supervisory responsibilities for assigned subordinates.
- You will accomplish other duties as assigned.
