About the Role: Data Analyst
Are you passionate about using data to tell a story, uncover insights, and drive better business decisions? Join our team as a Data Analyst supporting the United States Postal Service (USPS).
In this role, you'll connect to large datasets, transform raw data into meaningful visualizations, and create live dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI and Power Query. Your work will empower leaders to act quickly and strategically, giving businesses a competitive edge.

About the Role: Data Analyst

What You'll Do:
- Prepare and refine data queries for analysis.
- Cleanse and enhance data using Power Query.
- Build and manage robust data models in Power Pivot.
- Develop relationships between data sources to enable insightful analysis.
- Create PivotTables, PivotCharts, and dynamic dashboards to present data.
- Use DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) to create meaningful links between datasets.
- Design, develop, and publish Power BI reports to Power BI Service.
- Connect to diverse data sources and refresh data regularly for up-to-date reporting.
- Identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights to inform business decisions.
- Use strategic thinking to craft data-driven stories that highlight critical findings.
What We're Looking For:
Minimum Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field. Strong data analytics coursework preferred.
Minimum Experience:
- 5+ years of experience with advanced data analysis techniques, including:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, macros, and advanced functions.
- Hands-on experience with Power Query and Power Pivot for data modeling and visualization.
- Proven ability to create dynamic dashboards and professional presentations.
Preferred Skills:
- Expertise in Power BI for creating live dashboards and interactive reports.
- Experience with DAX, conditional statements, and data transformation.
- Ability to connect to and work with diverse data sources.
- Strong communication skills to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
Additional Requirements
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
- Must meet eligibility requirements to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
