As a Security Guard - - Armed Government Center Patrol - Full Time in Maury, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal, providing customer service to clients and visitors at the government location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using appropriate judgment and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor for unusual activity and/or security-related violations, documenting and reporting observations according to established protocols.
• Participate in emergency response activities, following site-specific guidelines and coordinating with appropriate personnel as needed.
• Maintain a professional presence while interacting with staff, visitors, and/or members of the public, supporting a secure environment at the location.
• Operate and maintain awareness of security-related equipment and/or access control systems as required by the post assignment.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
