As a Security Professional - Media Facility - Part Time in Shepherdsville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting security-related screenings to help deter incidents and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Greet and screen individuals entering the location, verifying identification and credentials according to site-specific protocols.
• Assist in controlling access to the premises by monitoring entry points and authorizing visitors and/or employees as required.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and directing individuals to appropriate areas within the facility.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client representatives.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, maintaining communication with Allied Universal and client contacts.
• Document and maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or visitor logs as required by site policies.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited activities through visible presence and adherence to security-related procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
