As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will play a vital role in helping to maintain a secure and welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible to help to deter potential security-related incidents, and responding promptly to situations as they arise. You will also be expected to provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with all individuals on site, and assist with access control and badge verification as needed. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, observations, and incidents as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, staff, and emergency personnel as needed, representing Allied Universal at all times.
• Support the enforcement of client policies and procedures to help maintain a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
